Core Values
Our goal is to do well, while doing good.
A Message From Our Board: Diversified Community Impact stands firmly against racism. Our core values of inclusivity, diversity, and respect are further emboldened in the face of unjust and hateful events in our communities.
Issues We Care About
Through our work in the real estate investment sector, we seek to address social, civic and environmental problems that stymy the health and prosperity of communities of color. We also champion causes that are most meaningful to our constituents (employees, clients, partners, etc) because we are an extension of the communities we serve.

Our Commitment To Impact
- Racial Justice: Join us in acknowledging the pervasive existence of systemic racism and the biases that all of us carry. At Diversified, we've made a commitment to acknowledge it, speak out about it when we see it, and do better.
- Equal Pay For Women: Gender income gap disparities still exist today - especially in the commercial real estate industry. Our commitment toward doing better starts during our recruitment and interview process, and is reinforced in via our training, mentorship, and career advancement practices.
- Equality: We denounce all forms of inequity and hate and have a zero tolerance policy for racism, homophobia, sexism, cissexism, or xenophobia in our hiring practices, client services, and lending guidelines. We also acknowledge that women and minorities have been given structural disadvantages with accessing the equity and debt capital markets.
- Climate Justice: If we ruin this earth, we don't get a second chance. As part of our fight for climate justice, we advocate for the incorporation of clean energy into the real estate development process.
- Homelessness & Affordable Housing: The lack of stable affordable housing is the foundation of many of America's social problems, including poverty, homelessness, educational disparities, and health care. Most poor renting families spend at least half of their income on housing costs. We've made a commitment to acknowledge this issue, speak out about it when we see it. To back this up, Diversified offers sponsors with affordable housing projects the opportunity to receive equity investments and/or rebates on the loan origination fees for eligible projects.
- Fair Housing Practices: Fair housing is a critical component of social justice and economic justice and we champion both. Our commitment is to acknowledge the legacy of unfair housing practices, and support communities, investors, and projects that have been historically disadvantaged because of these structural inequities.
